Teen’s girlfriend uses bands as a fundraiser to pay medical costs

Matt’s girlfriend, Dani Condino, is setting up a tennis tournament to raise money. Red silicone bracelets with “Matt Frey” and a football inscribed on are being sold.

Through it all, getting back to the football field has been a major motivation for Matt.
It was one of the first thoughts he had when he was diagnosed.

“I was thinking if I was going to be able to play football next year,” Matt said. “That’s the first thing I asked the doctors.”

Doctors have told him when he feels better, he can return.

People who know Matt have no doubt he’ll do just that.
