Wyoming Seminary students aid hurricane relief fund
Wyoming Seminary Upper School students, faculty and staff contributed to several fund-raisers to collect money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Beginning in late August, students sold blue paper waves and Katrina relief rubber bracelets and held a dress-down day. The activities raised $5,030.55. An additional $312 was received in bracelet sales after the fund-raisers ended. The money was given to the Wyoming Valley chapter of the American Red Cross for its flood-relief efforts.
